Overview

To help ensure correct application access levels, and manage users in your organization's SaaS environment, Torii provides in-depth User data with detailed views, filters, and the ability to perform actions on selected users.

You can find user data and filters in both the Users page, as well as in the Users tab of each specific application page.

The Users page

From the Users page, you can view all users in your org, split into tabs based on user type.

In this page, Torii provides detailed information on each user discovered in any of your organization's SaaS applications, with fields such as email, group, job title, cost center, department, manager and more. Torii also syncs attributes received from HRM and IDP systems connected to your organization. In this page, you can also set filters on user data to help segment users or view a specific subset of users.

You cannot find specific app data (such as role, license, activity etc.) for each user on this page or filter based on it. You also cannot take actions on the users from this page.

Torii also provides out-of-the-box views for current, past and all users for each user type.

In this page, you can also create custom private or shared views based on any filters you set, to easily return to views you want to use often or share with others. Learn more about custom views here

Users in Application pages

Application->Overview tab

When clicking (or searching for) any application, you will immediately see the active number of users straight in the overview tab.

Torii differentiates between apps with and without a connected integration to provide as accurate a user count as possible:

  • For integrated apps, the number refers to Users with access, which means users that are retrieved as active users directly from the integration.
  • For non-integrated apps, the number refers to Discovered users, which means users discovered for this app by 3rd party sources who are not suspended or deleted.

In integrated apps, you can hover over the Users number to display a breakdown of users discovered directly from the integration for the app. If the application has more than one account, a dropdown will be displayed, enabling you to select the account.

Application->Users tab

You can review the list of discovered users for any application by going to the Users tab in the specific app page. Here you will find data specific to this app (such as role, license type, app usage and more), as well as general user fields identical to those in the Users page.

In this page, you cannot save your own custom views.

In the Application->Users tab, you will find two ways to segment the discovered users:

  1. Pre-defined views to differentiate between active and inactive application users.

  2. Filters on user data to help segment users based on the above mentioned fields.

Torii differentiates between apps with and without a connected integration in this page to provide optimal per-defined views for each case:

  • For Integrated apps, Torii provides these views:
    • Users with access (per the integration)
    • Users with and without access (per the integration): This includes users who return as inactive from the integration.
    • All users from all sources: Also includes users discovered outside the integration.
  • For non-integrated apps, Torii provides these views:
    • Discovered Users: Users Tori discovered for this app
    • All Users: Also includes users who are deleted or suspended

In this page, you can also take action on users in the respective application. Simply select the users on which you take action, click the Run action button, and select the action you wish to take.
