Overview

Torii integrates with TalentLMS and syncs:

• Users: name, email, username, role (the TalentLMS user type), active or inactive status, last login and registration date.
• Licenses: one TalentLMS license with each user's last login. Inactive users don't hold a seat.
• You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

• A paid TalentLMS plan. The API is not available on the Free plan or during the free trial.
• A TalentLMS administrator account that can turn on the API and copy the API key.
• TalentLMS API keys are domain-wide, and TalentLMS does not offer a scoped or read-only key. The key gives Torii the same access to your TalentLMS domain as the API allows.

Required keys

To connect this integration, we require the following:

• TalentLMS Domain - the subdomain of your TalentLMS site. For example, enter acme for acme.talentlms.com.
• API Key - your TalentLMS API key.

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Find your TalentLMS domain

1. Open your TalentLMS site in the browser.
2. Take the first part of the address. For example, for acme.talentlms.com, the domain is acme. Do not include https:// or .talentlms.com.

Step 2: Enable the API and copy the API key

1. Sign in to TalentLMS as an administrator.
2. Go to Account & Settings >> Integrations and click the API tile.
3. Turn on the API.
4. Copy the API key, then click Save.

How to Connect the Integration

1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
2. Search for TalentLMS and click Connect.
3. Enter the TalentLMS Domain and the API Key.
4. Click Connect.

Actions

• Update User - updates a user's first name, last name and email. The user type (role) can't be changed.
• Delete User - deletes a user from TalentLMS. TalentLMS archives the user and keeps their training data.
