Overview

Torii integrates with ActiveCampaign and syncs:

  • Users and licenses
  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

To connect this integration, we require the following:

  • An ActiveCampaign user whose API URL and API Key will be used by Torii. Each ActiveCampaign user has their own API URL and Key, and the Key carries the permissions of that user. ActiveCampaign does not offer a scoped key.
  • API access is included in every ActiveCampaign plan, and in the free trial.
  • We recommend creating a dedicated user in the Admin group for Torii. An Admin-group user is required for the Create User, Change user group and Delete User actions.

Important
If the user whose API Key is connected to Torii is deleted in ActiveCampaign, the integration stops working. You will need to connect again with the API URL and Key of another user.

Required keys

  • API URL - the full URL of your account, for example https://youraccount.api-us1.com, without a trailing slash.
  • API Key - the API Key of the user you chose above.

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Create a dedicated user (recommended)

  1. In ActiveCampaign, create a new user and place it in the Admin group.
  2. Log in to ActiveCampaign as that user.

Step 2: Copy the API URL and API Key

  1. Click Settings (gear icon).
  2. In the Account Settings menu that appears, click Developer.
  3. On the Developer Settings page, copy the API URL and the Key.

Important
Always use the API URL shown on the Developer Settings page. Do not type it from memory, because the address differs between accounts. If you reset the API Key in ActiveCampaign, update it in Torii as well.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for ActiveCampaign and click Connect.
  3. Enter the API URL and API Key.
  4. Click Connect.

Actions

  • Create User - creates an ActiveCampaign user. ActiveCampaign requires a username (lower-case letters and numbers only), first name, last name, an initial password of at least 8 characters and a user group. There is no invite-only option.
  • Change ActiveCampaign user group - moves a user to the user group you select.
  • Delete User - deletes the user from ActiveCampaign. Do not delete the user whose API Key is connected to Torii. Lists, deals and tasks owned by the deleted user may need to be reassigned in ActiveCampaign first.

These actions require the connected API Key to belong to an Admin-group user.
