To connect this integration, we require the following:
Accounts & Permissions
- An Absorb LMS portal with the Integration API enabled. If you do not see it in your Client Settings, contact your Absorb account team to get access.
- An Absorb LMS admin with the System Admin role, to open Client Settings >> Integration API.
Important
Absorb does not offer limited-permission credentials for this connection. The OAuth Client ID and Client Secret give broad administrative access to your portal, so protect the Client Secret as you would a system administrator's password.

How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Find your region
Select the option that matches the region where your Absorb LMS portal is hosted. If you are not sure, ask your Absorb account representative or Absorb Support.

Step 2: Get the OAuth Client ID and OAuth Client Secret
- Sign in to your Absorb LMS portal.
- Go to Client Settings >> Integration API.
- Copy the OAuth Client ID.
- Copy the OAuth Client Secret.
Step 3: Get an API Key
- On the same Client Settings >> Integration API page, copy any of the listed API keys.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for Absorb LMS and click Connect.
- Enter an Account Name, select your Region, and enter the OAuth Client ID, OAuth Client Secret and API Key.
- Click Connect.
Actions
- Create User - creates a user in Absorb LMS. A department and a password are required. The password is entered as plain text in the workflow, so it is visible to people who can view the workflow. The username and email are both set to the user's email address. If a user with the same username already exists in Absorb LMS, that user may be overwritten instead of the action failing.
Q&A
Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?
A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple Absorb LMS accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose. It is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
