Overview
Torii integrates with Avaya Infinity and syncs:
User Fields
---
Name
Status (enabled or disabled)
License type
Creation date
- Torii syncs all enabled and disabled users of your Avaya Infinity tenant, with one license per Avaya Infinity license type.
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
To connect this integration, we require the following:
Accounts & Permissions
- An Avaya Infinity subscription.
- An Avaya Infinity API client (client ID and client secret) issued by Avaya. The API client needs the Admin API Consumer role, which is enough to read and manage users.
Required keys
- Customer ID - the name of your tenant in your Avaya Infinity address,
https://core.<customer ID>.ec.avayacloud.com. - Client ID
- Client Secret
How to Generate the Required Values
Follow these steps to generate the required values:
Step 1: Find your customer ID
- Sign in to Avaya Infinity.
- Look at the address in your browser. It starts with
https://core.<customer ID>.ec.avayacloud.com. - Copy the part between
core.and.ec.avayacloud.com. This is your customer ID.
Step 2: Request a client ID and secret from Avaya
- Avaya issues API credentials through the Avaya OneCare portal. Follow Avaya's guide: Obtaining a Client ID and Secret from Avaya.
- In your request, ask for an API client with the Admin API Consumer role.
- When Avaya sends the credentials, copy the Client ID and the Client Secret.
Important
Store the client secret somewhere safe. Anyone who has it can read and change users in your Avaya Infinity tenant.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for Avaya Infinity and click Connect.
- Enter the Customer ID, Client ID and Client Secret.
- Click Connect.
Actions
- Create User - creates a new Avaya Infinity user with a first name, last name and license type.
- Update User - changes a user's first name, last name, job title or license type. Empty fields are left unchanged.
- Disable User - disables a user so they can no longer sign in. Avaya Infinity only deletes users that are already disabled, so you can delete the user in Avaya Infinity afterwards if needed.
These actions use the same API client, which needs the Admin API Consumer role.
