Overview

Torii integrates with Pylon and syncs:

User Fields License Types
Users, status and roles One license per Pylon role
  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

  • A Pylon workspace on a plan with API access (Professional, Advanced or Enterprise).
  • A Pylon Admin. Only Admins can create API tokens.
  • To use the Update user role action, the token must have the Admin role.

Required keys

To connect this integration, we require the following:

  • A Pylon API token
  • The region where your Pylon workspace is hosted (US or EU)

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Create an API token

  1. In Pylon, go to Settings >> Integrations & dev >> API tokens and click Create API Token.
  2. Enter a Name, for example Torii.
  3. Leave Act as user or bot (optional) empty, so the token has its own identity.
  4. Pick a Role. The Admin role works. A lower role may work if it can read users. The Admin role is required only for the Update user role action.
  5. Click Create and copy the token.

Important
Pylon shows the token only once, so copy it before closing the window.
When a user is deactivated, Pylon deletes every token that user created or that acts as that user. Create the token from a long-lived admin or bot account.

Step 2: Find your region

Use the region where your Pylon workspace is hosted. EU tokens start with pylon_api_eu_. If your token does not start with that prefix, your workspace is most likely in the US region.

Where your workspace is hosted Region to select in Torii
US US (api.usepylon.com)
EU (token starts with pylon_api_eu_) EU (api.eu.usepylon.com)

For more details see Pylon's guide: Authentication.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for Pylon and click Connect.
  3. Paste the token into the API Token field and select your Region.
  4. Click Connect.

Actions

  • Update user role - changes the role of a Pylon user. The token must have the Admin role.

Creating, inviting and deactivating Pylon users from Torii are not supported yet.
