Overview
Torii integrates with ClickHouse and syncs:
| User Fields | License Types |
|---|---|
| Name, email, roles, join date. All synced members are shown as active. | ClickHouse (unpaid, billing is usage-based) |
- Pending invitations are not synced until they are accepted.
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
To connect this integration, we require the following:
Accounts & Permissions
- Access to the ClickHouse Cloud console with permission to create API keys for your organization.
- An API key with the Admin role. A key with a narrower role can't see the organization members, so the sync fails, and the Admin role also covers Torii actions (invite member, remove member, set member role).
Required keys
- Organization ID
- Key ID
- Key Secret
How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Create an API key
- In the ClickHouse Cloud console, select your organization name at the bottom of the left menu, then select API keys.
- Click New API key.
- Enter a name, for example Torii, and set Expiration date to Never.
- Under Roles, select Admin.
- Click Generate API key.
- Copy the Key ID and the Key Secret.
Important
The Key ID and Key Secret are shown only once. They are not displayed again after you leave the screen, so copy them before continuing.
Step 2: Find your Organization ID
- Select your organization name at the bottom of the left menu, then select Organization settings.
- Copy the Organization ID. It is also the ID after
/organizations/in the console URL.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for ClickHouse and click Connect.
- Enter the Organization ID, Key ID, and Key Secret.
- Click Connect.
Actions
- Invite ClickHouse member - sends an invitation email with the role you choose. The user joins your ClickHouse Cloud organization after they accept it.
- Remove ClickHouse member - removes a member from your organization.
- Set ClickHouse member role - sets the member's role to the one you choose. If the member has other roles, they may be removed.
Actions require the Organization manage permission on the API key.
