Overview

Torii integrates with Brevo and syncs:

• Users: the account owner, active users, and pending invited users.
• User details: email, status, role (Owner or User), and the user's access level to Marketing, CRM, and Conversations.
• Licenses: every user is assigned the Brevo license.

• You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Accounts & Permissions

To connect this integration, we require the following:

• A Brevo account owner. The API key must be created by the account owner, since managing users is documented for profile owners.
• API access is included in every Brevo plan. The Free and Starter plans allow only the account owner, so inviting users requires the Standard plan or higher.

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Generate an API key

1. Sign in to Brevo as the account owner.
2. Go to SMTP & API and open the API keys & MCP tab (https://app.brevo.com/settings/keys/api).
3. Click Generate API key.
4. Enter a name for the key, for example Torii.
5. Under Access, select Restricted. Set Account to Read and Organization to All. Torii needs no other permissions.
6. Click Generate. If Brevo asks you to verify your phone number, complete the verification.
7. Copy the API key.

Step 2: Allow Torii's IP addresses (only if IP blocking is enabled)

1. In Brevo, go to Security >> Authorized IPs.
2. If Block unknown IP addresses is enabled, add Torii's IP addresses to the list, or turn the setting off. Otherwise requests fail even with a valid API key.

How to Connect the Integration

1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
2. Search for Brevo and click Connect.
3. Enter an Account Name and the API key.
4. Click Connect.

Actions

• Invite user: sends a Brevo invitation to the given email address. The invited user is granted access to all Brevo features. Permissions per feature can be changed in Brevo.
• Remove user: removes the user from your Brevo account.

Changing a user's access from Torii is not supported.

Q&A

Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?

A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple Brevo accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose. It is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
