Overview
Torii integrates with LearnWorlds and syncs:
- Staff users of your school (admins, instructors, and reporters). Learners are not synced.
- Licenses, one per staff role.
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
Accounts & Permissions
- A LearnWorlds school administrator account.
- A LearnWorlds plan that includes API access (the Learning Center plan or the High Volume & Corporate plan).
Required keys
To connect this integration, we require the following:
- School domain - your school's domain, for example yourschool.learnworlds.com, or your custom domain. Enter the domain only, without https://.
- Client ID - from the API client you create in LearnWorlds.
- Client Secret - from the API client you create in LearnWorlds.
How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Create an API client in LearnWorlds
- Sign in to your LearnWorlds school admin.
- Go to Settings >> Developers >> API.
- Create a new API client.
- Copy the Client ID and the Client Secret.
Important
Store the Client Secret in a safe place. If you do not see the API section in your school settings, your plan may not include API access.
Step 2: Find your school domain
- Use the address you use to open your school, for example yourschool.learnworlds.com, or your custom domain if you have one.
- Do not include https:// or any path.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for LearnWorlds and click Connect.
- Enter the Account Name, School domain, Client ID, and Client Secret.
- Click Connect.
Actions
- Create User - creates a user in LearnWorlds. The new user is created as a learner, so it does not appear in Torii's user sync unless an admin assigns a staff role in LearnWorlds.
- Update User - updates a user's email and display name.
- Suspend User - suspends a user so they can no longer sign in. LearnWorlds does not support deleting users, so the user is kept. LearnWorlds also changes the user's role to learner and releases their seat, so the user no longer appears in Torii's user sync. Unsuspending the user in LearnWorlds does not restore the role.
Q&A
Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?
A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple LearnWorlds accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose. It is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
Q: Are learners synced to Torii?
A: No. Torii syncs only staff users (admins, instructors, and reporters).
