Overview

Torii integrates with OfficeSpace and syncs:

User Fields License Types
Status
Role
OfficeSpace
  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

To connect this integration, we require the following:

Accounts & Permissions

  • An OfficeSpace administrator account, to create an API key.
  • An OfficeSpace API key with the Full Access access level.
  • An OfficeSpace plan that includes API access. If you don't see API Keys under Admin, contact your OfficeSpace account manager.

Required keys

  • OfficeSpace API key

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Create an API key

  1. Sign in to OfficeSpace as an administrator.
  2. Go to Admin >> Integrations >> API Keys (in some OfficeSpace versions: hamburger menu >> Admin >> OfficeSpace API).
  3. Click Create API Key (or Generate API Key) and give it a descriptive name, for example "Torii".
  4. Select the Full Access access level.
  5. Copy the key and store it securely. OfficeSpace shows it only once.

Important
Treat the API key like a password. If the key is deleted in OfficeSpace, the Torii connection stops syncing and must be reconnected with a new key.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for OfficeSpace and click Connect.
  3. Paste the API Key.
  4. Click Connect.

Q&A

Q: Which OfficeSpace users does Torii sync?

A: Torii syncs the people who can sign in to OfficeSpace: employees who have an OfficeSpace login, both active and deactivated. Deactivated employees are shown with a Deleted status. Employee records without a login (for example people who only appear on floor plans) are not synced.

Q: Where does the role come from?

A: Torii reads each person's OfficeSpace user role (for example admin or booking_manager) from their login and matches it to the employee by email.

Q: Which workflow actions are available?

A: Create user (creates an employee record), Update user (first name, last name, job title) and Delete user (deactivates the employee). These actions are in beta. A user created by Torii appears in Torii after an OfficeSpace admin gives them a login.

Q: Does Torii show the last login date?

A: No. The OfficeSpace API does not provide a last login date.
