Overview

Torii integrates with Neon and syncs:

User Fields License Types
Email
Role
Status
Date joined the organization
Neon (unpaid - Neon organization members are free on every plan)

Torii can also run these Neon actions in workflows (beta): Invite Neon user, Change Neon member role and Delete Neon user (removes the member from the organization).

  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

To connect this integration, we require the following:

Accounts & Permissions

  • A Neon organization. Each Torii connection syncs one organization.
  • To sync users only: a Neon personal API key of a member of the organization.
  • To also use the invite and remove actions: a personal API key of an organization Admin. Neon does not allow organization API keys to send invitations or remove members.

Required keys

  • API Key - a Neon personal API key.
  • Organization ID - your Neon organization ID, for example org-cool-darkness-12345678.

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Create a personal API key

  1. Sign in to the Neon Console at console.neon.tech.
  2. Open your Account settings and go to API keys.
  3. Click Create new API key and give it a name, for example Torii.
  4. Copy the API key.

Important
Neon shows the API key only once. Copy it and store it securely before closing the window. If you plan to use the invite or remove actions, create the key while signed in as an organization Admin.

Step 2: Copy your organization ID

  1. In the Neon Console, switch to the organization you want to connect.
  2. Open the organization's Settings page.
  3. Under General information, copy the Organization ID.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for Neon and click Connect.
  3. Enter the API Key and the Organization ID.
  4. Click Connect.

Q&A

Q: Can I use a Neon organization API key instead of a personal API key?

A: An organization API key can sync users and change member roles, but Neon does not allow it to send invitations or remove members. It also has admin-level access to all of your organization's resources. A personal API key is recommended.

Q: How do I connect more than one Neon organization?

A: Connect each organization as a separate account, each with its own Organization ID.

Q: Why don't invited people appear in Torii right away?

A: People who do not have a Neon account yet must accept the email invitation and create an account before they become organization members. They appear in Torii on the next sync after they join.

Q: Why are Neon licenses marked unpaid?

A: Neon does not charge per organization member; every plan includes unlimited members and billing is based on usage.
