Overview

Torii integrates with SAP LeanIX and syncs:

  • Users, including their role, status, and last login time.
  • License information for each user, under one license named SAP LeanIX.
  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

To connect this integration, we require the following:

  • An SAP LeanIX workspace Administrator to create a technical user.
  • A technical user with the Admin permission role. This role is needed to read users and to run actions.
  • An SAP LeanIX subscription. API access is included in SAP LeanIX plans.

Required keys

  • Subdomain - the part of your SAP LeanIX address that comes before .leanix.net.
  • Workspace ID - the ID of your SAP LeanIX workspace.
  • API Token - the API token of the technical user.

How to Generate the Required Values

Follow these steps to generate the required values:

Step 1: Create a technical user and copy its API token

  1. Sign in to SAP LeanIX as an administrator.
  2. Go to Administration > Technical Users.
  3. Click New Technical User.
  4. Enter a Username, and optionally a description.
  5. In Permission Role, select Admin.
  6. Set an Expiry Date for the API token.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Copy the API token that appears in the overlay.

Important
The API token is shown only once. Copy it and store it securely before closing the overlay. When the token expires, create a new one and reconnect the integration.

Step 2: Find your Workspace ID

  1. In SAP LeanIX, go to Administration > API Tokens.
  2. Copy the WorkspaceId value.

Step 3: Find your Subdomain

  1. Look at the address of your SAP LeanIX workspace in the browser.
  2. Copy the part before .leanix.net. For example, if your address is acme.leanix.net, the subdomain is acme.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for SAP LeanIX and click Connect.
  3. Enter the Subdomain, Workspace ID, and API Token.
  4. Click Connect.

Actions

  • Invite User - invites a user to your SAP LeanIX workspace with the Admin, Member, or Viewer role. SAP LeanIX requires an inviting workspace admin, which you select in the action. SAP LeanIX sends the invitation email.
  • Remove User - archives the user in your SAP LeanIX workspace, which removes their access. SAP LeanIX does not remove users from a workspace, so the user is archived instead, and their role is reset to Viewer. SAP LeanIX deletes archived users after 90 days.
  • Change User Role - changes the role of an active user to Admin, Member, or Viewer. Pending invitations cannot be changed. If your workspace uses SSO, your identity provider may override the role.
