Overview

Torii integrates with Secure Code Warrior and syncs:

  • Users: email, name, role, status and last login
  • Licenses: the license type of each user
  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

To connect this integration, we require the following:

Accounts & Permissions

  • A Secure Code Warrior user with the Company Admin role.
  • A Secure Code Warrior Business or Enterprise plan. The Basic plan does not include API access.
  • API access enabled for your company. It is disabled by default.

Required keys

  • Admin API key
  • Region of your Secure Code Warrior company (US or EU)

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Generate an Admin API key

  1. Sign in to the Secure Code Warrior portal as a Company Admin.
  2. Go to Administration >> Edit Company >> Admin API.
  3. Generate an Admin API key and copy it.

Important
Use the Admin API key. The Report API key does not work, because reading users requires the Admin API key.
If the Admin API section is missing, contact your Secure Code Warrior Customer Success Manager or Secure Code Warrior support to enable API access.
The Admin API key has read and write access. Secure Code Warrior does not offer a narrower key that can read users.

For more details, see Secure Code Warrior's article: How to enable API access.

Step 2: Identify your region

  • Select EU if your company uses the Secure Code Warrior EU region.
  • Select US if your company uses the Secure Code Warrior US region.
  • If you are not sure, ask your Secure Code Warrior Customer Success Manager.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for Secure Code Warrior and click Connect.
  3. Enter the Admin API Key and select your Region.
  4. Click Connect.

Actions

  • Create user - creates a user in Secure Code Warrior with a role (Developer, Team manager or Company admin) and a team, and optionally sends an invitation email.
  • Update user - changes the role and/or team of an existing user. Names cannot be edited.
  • Delete user - permanently deletes the user from Secure Code Warrior.

Q&A

Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?

A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple Secure Code Warrior accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose. It is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
