Overview
Torii integrates with VirusTotal and syncs:
- Users: the members of one VirusTotal Enterprise group.
- Licenses
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
Accounts & Permissions
- A VirusTotal Enterprise group (group management uses the VirusTotal Premium API).
- The API key of a user who is a Group Administrator of that group. VirusTotal shows a member's email and last login only to group administrators, and only group administrators can manage users.

To connect this integration, we require the following:
- API Key
- Group ID
How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Copy the API key
- Sign in to VirusTotal as a Group Administrator.
- Click your name at the top right and select API key.
- Copy your personal API key.
Step 2: Copy the Group ID
- Click your name at the top right and open your VT Enterprise group (My Group).
- In the Group preferences section, copy the Group ID.
Important
The API key belongs to the user who created it. If that user stops being a Group Administrator, Torii can no longer read member emails or manage users.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for VirusTotal and click Connect.
- Enter the API Key and the Group ID.
- Click Connect.
Actions
These actions are in beta.
Invite VirusTotal user
Adds a user to your VirusTotal group by email. If the email has no VirusTotal account, VirusTotal sends an invitation. The user appears in Torii after the next sync.
Add VirusTotal user role
Adds a role (for example Group administrator or Private scanning) to a group member. Existing roles are kept. Which roles you can use depends on your VirusTotal license.
Remove VirusTotal user
Removes the user from your VirusTotal group. Their personal VirusTotal account stays and becomes a free account.
