Overview
Torii integrates with Render and syncs:

Requirements
Accounts & Permissions
- A Render workspace.
- To sync members, the API key must belong to a user who is a member of the workspace.
- To use the Remove member and Change member role actions, the API key must belong to an Admin of the workspace. In Render, only Admins can manage other members.
Required keys
To connect this integration, we require the following:
- API Key - a Render API key.
- Workspace ID - the ID of the Render workspace to sync. It starts with tea-.
How to Generate the Required Values
Follow these steps to generate the required values:
Step 1: Create a Render API key
- Sign in to the Render Dashboard.
- Open your Account Settings page.
- Create a new API key.
- Copy the key.
Important
Render shows the API key in full only when it is created, so copy it before leaving the page. A Render API key has the same access as the user who created it, across every workspace that user belongs to. Torii reads only the workspace whose ID you enter.
Step 2: Find your Workspace ID
The Workspace ID starts with tea-. To find it, use the Render API:
- Call the Render List workspaces endpoint (
GET https://api.render.com/v1/owners) with your API key as a Bearer token. See the List workspaces reference. - In the response, find your workspace by name and copy its id value (for example, tea-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX).
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for Render and click Connect.
- Enter the API Key and the Workspace ID.
- Click Connect.
Actions
- Remove Render workspace member - removes a member from the Render workspace.
- Change Render workspace member role - changes a member's role in the workspace. The Contributor, Billing and Viewer roles are available only on Render's Scale plan or above.
Both actions require the API key to belong to a workspace Admin. Inviting or adding members is not available, because Render's API does not support it. Render allows inviting members only on the Pro plan or higher.
