Overview
Torii integrates with Docebo and syncs:
| User Fields | License Types |
|---|---|
| Status, Role, Last Visit Time | Docebo |
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
- The Docebo integration is currently in early access. If you do not see it in your Integrations page, contact Torii Support to have it enabled for your organization.
Requirements
Accounts & Permissions
To connect this integration, we require the following:
- A Docebo Superadmin to activate the API and SSO app and create the API credentials.
- A dedicated local Docebo user (not an SSO-only user) with the Superadmin level. Torii uses this user to read your user data.
- A Docebo Elevate or Enterprise plan. Both include API access.
Required keys
- Docebo domain - for example, yourcompany.docebosaas.com or your custom domain, without https://.
- Client ID - of the OAuth2 app you create in Docebo.
- Client Secret - of the OAuth2 app you create in Docebo.
- Username - of the dedicated Superadmin API user.
- Password - of the dedicated Superadmin API user.
How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Activate the API and SSO app
- Sign in to Docebo as a Superadmin.
- Activate the API and SSO app from the Apps & Features area (it is listed under Docebo Additional Features). Skip this step if the app is already active.
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner to open the Admin menu, then under API and SSO click Manage.
Step 2: Create an OAuth2 app
- Open the API Credentials tab and click Add OAuth2 App.
- Enter a name and a description (for example, Torii).
- Enter a Client ID. The name you choose is the Client ID. The Client Secret is generated automatically.
- Enter any valid Redirect URL, for example https://www.toriihq.com.
- Click Show advanced settings and enable the Resource Owner Password Credentials grant type.
- Click Confirm.
- Make sure the app is active: the checkmark in the app's row must be green.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.
Step 3: Create a dedicated API user
- In Docebo, create a new local user for Torii (not an SSO-only user).
- Set the user level to Superadmin.
- Save the username and password.
Important
Torii signs in with the username and password of this user, because Docebo's client-credentials option cannot access the user management APIs. Use a dedicated user and keep its password up to date, since a password change or an expired password will stop the sync.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for Docebo and click Connect.
- Enter the Docebo domain, Client ID, Client Secret, Username and Password.
- Click Connect.
Actions
The following actions are available in early access:
- Create User - creates a Docebo user with the role you choose and an initial password. Docebo doesn't email the new user, so share the password with them.
- Update User - updates the first name, last name or role of a Docebo user.
- Delete User - permanently deletes a Docebo user.
