Overview

Torii integrates with Cronofy and syncs:

User Fields License Types
Email, Role Cronofy
  • Torii syncs the members of one Cronofy Organizational Unit.
  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

To connect this integration, we require the following:

Accounts & Permissions

  • A Cronofy user with the Owner or Developer Admin role in the Organizational Unit. Only these roles can create new Applications.

Required keys

  • Data Center - the Cronofy data center your Organizational Unit is on.
  • Client Secret - the client secret of a Cronofy Internal Application linked to your Organizational Unit.

How to Generate the Required Values

Follow these steps to generate the required values:

Step 1: Identify your data center

Cronofy runs six separate data centers. Your Cronofy account exists in only one of them, and you must select the same one in Torii. Look at the address of the Cronofy web app you sign in to and select the matching option in Torii:

Cronofy web app address Data Center option in Torii
app.cronofy.com United States (api.cronofy.com)
app-uk.cronofy.com United Kingdom (api-uk.cronofy.com)
app-de.cronofy.com Germany (api-de.cronofy.com)
app-ca.cronofy.com Canada (api-ca.cronofy.com)
app-au.cronofy.com Australia (api-au.cronofy.com)
app-sg.cronofy.com Singapore (api-sg.cronofy.com)

Step 2: Create an Internal Application

  1. Sign in to Cronofy as an Owner or Developer Admin of your Organizational Unit, on the data center identified in Step 1.
  2. Open the Developer Dashboard (on the same data center as your Organizational Unit, for example app-uk.cronofy.com for the United Kingdom).
  3. Click Create new app, enter a name and your website URL, and select Internal Only Application. An Internal Only Application has access to just one Organizational Unit.
  4. Click Create application.

Step 3: Copy the client secret

  1. The Application's dashboard opens after you create it. Copy the Client secret. You can also find it later on the Application's Credentials page.

Important
Keep the client secret private. If it is ever compromised, you can generate a new one from the Credentials page of the Application by clicking Generate a new client secret, and then update it in Torii.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for Cronofy and click Connect.
  3. Enter the required values: select your Data Center and enter the Client Secret.
  4. Click Connect.

Q&A

Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?

A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple Cronofy accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose. It is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
