Overview
Torii integrates with mabl and syncs:
- Users (name and email)
- Each user's role in every workspace
- Workspaces, shown as groups
- Creation date
- License
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
Accounts & Permissions
To connect this integration, we require the following:
- A mabl user who is a workspace owner with account admin permissions. Only account admins can create company API keys.
Required keys
- API Key: a company API key of type User management.
- Account ID: ends in -ac.
- Company ID: ends in -co.
How to Generate the Required Values
Follow these steps to generate the required values:
Step 1: Create a company API key
- In mabl, open the account dashboard.
- Click API keys in the left navigation.
- Click Create key.
- Enter a name for the key, for example Torii.
- For the type of API key, select User management.
- Optional: set an expiration time range. We recommend a long expiration time range, or no expiration, so the sync keeps running.
- Click Create key.
- Copy the generated key.
Important
You can't view the key again after you leave this page, so copy it now. You can only set an expiration on a new key, not on an existing one. When a key expires, the Torii sync stops until you connect again with a new key.
Step 2: Copy your Account ID and Company ID
- On the same API keys page, click View IDs.
- Copy the Account ID (it ends in -ac) and the Company ID (it ends in -co).
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for mabl and click Connect.
- Enter the API Key, Account ID, and Company ID.
- Click Connect.
Q&A
Q: Why does Torii show only some of my mabl users?
A: A workspace API key returns only the users of that workspace. Connect with a company API key of type User management to sync users from every workspace.
Q: What happens when the API key expires?
A: The sync stops. Create a new User management company API key, then connect mabl again in Torii with the new key.
Q: Which mabl data does Torii not sync?
A: Torii doesn't sync last visit, historic users, or pending invitations.
