Overview
Torii integrates with Loopio and syncs:
- Users, including their status and role.
- A license for each user based on their role tier (Full Access, Standard, Library User, Content Contributor, Project Contributor, Power User, Lite User or Guest User).
- Loopio Teams, synced as a custom field.
- Last login date and account creation date are not available from the Loopio API and are not synced.
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
Accounts & Permissions
- A Loopio account with Admin access is required to create the API App used to connect Torii. Only Admins can create an App.
Scopes
- user:read - to retrieve users and their team membership (Loopio Teams).
- role:read - to retrieve role tiers, used to determine each user's role and license.

How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Create an API App in Loopio
- Sign in to Loopio as an Admin.
- Go to the Integrations page in the Admin area.
- In the "For Developers" section, click Add an App.
- Name the app, for example "Torii".
- Under scopes, select only user:read and role:read.
- Save the app to generate a Client ID and Client Secret.
Important
Scopes cannot be changed after the App is created. To change them later, delete the App and create a new one with the correct scopes.
Step 2: Use the values in Torii
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret in the Torii connection form.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for Loopio and click Connect.
- Enter the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Click Connect.
Q&A
Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?
A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple Loopio accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose, it is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
