Overview

Torii integrates with ChurnZero and syncs:

  • Users and their status
  • Licenses
  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

To connect this integration, we require the following:

  • The ChurnZero REST API add-on enabled on your ChurnZero instance. If it is not enabled, contact your ChurnZero Customer Success Manager.
  • A ChurnZero user with the Developer Tools user permission.
  • The Bulk Read - User Accounts permission enabled for that user's User Permission Group.

Required keys

  • ChurnZero host (for example, acme.us1app.churnzero.net)
  • ChurnZero username
  • API Key

How to Generate the Required Values

Follow these steps to generate the required values:

Step 1: Find your ChurnZero host

  1. Sign in to ChurnZero and look at the address bar of your browser.
  2. Copy the host part of the URL, including the region (for example, acme.us1app.churnzero.net). Do not include https:// or anything after .net.

Step 2: Set up a user with the minimum permissions

  1. In ChurnZero, choose or create a dedicated user for Torii.
  2. Give that user the Developer Tools user permission.
  3. In that user's User Permission Group, enable Bulk Read - User Accounts. Other Bulk Read permissions are not needed.

Step 3: Create an API Key

  1. Signed in as that user, go to Admin > API Keys.
  2. Create a new API Key and copy it.

Important
Copy the API Key as soon as it is created and store it in a secure place. It works as the password for the connection.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for ChurnZero and click Connect.
  3. Enter the Account URL (your ChurnZero host), Username and API Key.
  4. Click Connect.

Q&A

Q: Why do some ChurnZero users appear in Torii without a license?

A: ChurnZero can hold users who are not allowed to log in, for example record owners synced from your CRM. Torii shows them as users but does not count them as a license, because they do not sign in to ChurnZero.
