Overview
Torii integrates with Upstash and syncs:
- Users
- Licenses
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
Accounts & Permissions
- An Upstash account created directly with Upstash, not through Vercel or Fly.io.
- Membership in the Upstash team you want to connect. Any team role works, including Read Only.
Required keys
To connect this integration, we require the following:
- Email - the email address of the Upstash account that creates the API key
- Developer API Key - a Read Only key is enough
- Team ID - the ID of the Upstash team to connect
How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Create a Developer API key
- Log in to the Upstash console.
- Open Account and click the Developer API tab.
- Click Create API Key.
- Enter a name for the key, select Read Only permissions, choose an expiration, and click Submit.
- Copy the key.
Important
Upstash shows the API key only once, so copy it before closing the window.
If the key expires, create a new one and reconnect the integration.
Step 2: Find your Team ID
- In the Upstash console, select the team using the team selector at the top left.
- Open Settings.
- Copy the value after teamid= in your browser's address bar.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for Upstash and click Connect.
- Enter the Email, Developer API Key and Team ID.
- Click Connect.
Q&A
Q: Can I connect an Upstash account created through Vercel or Fly.io?
A: No. Upstash's Developer API is available only to accounts created directly with Upstash.
Q: I belong to several Upstash teams. How do I sync all of them?
A: Each connection syncs one team. Connect Upstash once per team, using that team's Team ID.
Q: How do invited members appear in Torii?
A: Members who have been invited but haven't accepted yet appear with an Invited status and an inactive license. Once they accept, they appear as Active on the next sync.
Q: I get an "invalid, expired or revoked key" error. What should I check?
A: Make sure the email you entered belongs to the same Upstash account that created the API key. A key used with a different account's email fails with the same error, even when the key itself is valid.
