Overview
Torii integrates with TeamCity and syncs:
- Users, including their roles and group memberships.
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
To connect this integration, we require the following:
Accounts & Permissions
- A TeamCity account holding two global permissions: View all registered users and View user profile.
- Any role holding both works, for example a custom role created in Administration | Roles.
Required keys
- TeamCity Server URL
- Access Token
How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Find your TeamCity Server URL
- For TeamCity Cloud, this is your instance address, for example https://yourcompany.teamcity.com.
- For a self-hosted server, go to Administration | Global Settings and copy the Server URL value.
- The URL must start with https://.
Step 2: Create an access token
- Click your avatar in the header and select Profile from the drop-down menu.
- Open the Access Tokens tab and create a new token.
- Leave Permissions scope set to Same as current user.
- Pick the token expiration.
- Copy the token value.
Important
The token value is only shown when it is created and cannot be retrieved afterwards. Copy it before closing the dialog.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for TeamCity and click Connect.
- Enter the Account Name, TeamCity Server URL, and Access Token.
- Click Connect.
Q&A
Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?
A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple TeamCity accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose — it is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
