Overview
Torii integrates with your Dovetail workspace and syncs Users, their roles - including whether they have admin access - and their licenses.

Requirements
To connect this integration, we require the following:
Accounts & Permissions
- A Dovetail workspace.
- The Personal API Key must belong to a user who has permission to see all of the users in the workspace and their details. A key only returns data its owner can access, so a key from a user with limited visibility produces an incomplete sync.
Required keys
- Personal API Key - an opaque string beginning with api.
How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Create a Personal API Key
- Sign in to Dovetail.
- Go to Settings > Account (avatar menu, top right).
- Find the Personal API keys section.
- Enter a label for the key, for example Torii.
- Choose an expiry period.
- Create the key and copy it.
Important
Dovetail displays the key only once. Copy it somewhere secure before leaving the page. If you lose it, create a new key.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for Dovetail and click Connect.
- Enter an Account Name.
- Enter your Personal API Key.
- Click Connect.
