Overview

Torii integrates with dbt and syncs users and their license seats.

Requirements

To connect this integration, we require the following:

Accounts & Permissions

• A dbt account with administrator access.
• A Service Token assigned the Account Admin permission set, which is required to read the list of users and to update user details.

Required keys

• Service Token
• Access URL
• Account ID

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Create a Service Token

1. In dbt, go to Account settings → API tokens → Service tokens.
2. Click Create service token and give it a name (for example, “Torii Integration”).
3. Assign the Account Admin permission set (All projects, All environments).
4. Click Save and copy the token.

Step 2: Find your Access URL and Account ID

• Access URL — this is the host of your dbt web app. Open dbt and copy the host from your browser address bar (for example, abc123.us1.dbt.com). Older accounts use cloud.getdbt.com.
• Account ID — the numeric account identifier shown in your dbt URL and under Account settings → Account information.

How to Connect the Integration

1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
2. Search for dbt and click Connect.
3. Enter your Service Token, Access URL, and Account ID.
4. Click Connect.
