Overview

Torii integrates with Certinia and analyzes SaaS expenses:

Default synced transaction types Fields used for expense matching
Payable invoice expenses (vendor bills) Vendor, Line description
  • Torii will automatically match transactions to the correct application, summarize expenses and provide insights.
  • Torii syncs transaction data up to one year prior to first connection date.
  • You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

To connect this integration, we require the following:

  • A Certinia account (Certinia runs on Salesforce) with the Accounts-Payable / Payable Invoices module in use.
  • Connect with a user that has Read access to the following records:
    • Payable Invoice — the invoice header (vendor, date, currency, status)
    • Payable Invoice Expense Line Item — the actual expense lines (the main data)
    • General Ledger Account — the GL account each line is booked to
    • Account — the vendor/supplier

Scopes

  • api - to query your Certinia expense data.
  • refresh_token - to keep the connection active for scheduled syncs.
  • offline_access - to keep the connection active for scheduled syncs.
  • id - to identify the connected Certinia (Salesforce) org.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for Certinia and click Connect.
  3. Click Connect — you'll be redirected to Salesforce to sign in and authorize access.
  4. After authorizing, you'll return to Torii and the integration will begin syncing.

Q&A

Q: Why don't I see all my payable invoices in Torii?

A: Torii syncs only posted payable invoices (Invoice Status = Complete). Invoices that are still In Progress (not posted) or Discarded are intentionally excluded.
