Overview

Torii integrates with Snyk and syncs the members and their roles of a configured Snyk organization.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

  • A Snyk API token with access to the organization you want to sync — either a Service Account token (API key type) or a personal Auth Token.

Required keys

  • Snyk API Token
  • Snyk Organization ID
  • Snyk Region (your account's data-residency region)

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Get your Snyk API token

  1. Log in to Snyk.
  2. Use either of the following token types (choose whichever suits your organization):
  3. Service Account token — not tied to an individual user and can be scoped to a read-only role. Go to Organization Settings > General > Organization API key > Manage service accounts, create a service account with the API key (token) auth type, then copy its token. (OAuth service accounts are not supported.)
  4. Personal Auth Token — go to Account Settings > General, and under Auth Token click the KEY field ("click to show") to reveal and copy your token.

Step 2: Get your Organization ID

  1. Go to Organization Settings > General in Snyk.
  2. Scroll to the Organization ID section and click Copy. This is a UUID (for example, a1b2c3d4-5678-90ab-cdef-1234567890ab). Do not use the Organization slug shown in the page URL — Torii needs the UUID from the Organization ID section.

Step 3: Identify your Snyk region

Snyk hosts each account in a specific data-residency region. To find yours, log in to Snyk and look at the host in your browser's address bar (it's also shown as the "Data hosting" label on the Snyk login screen). Then select the matching region in Torii:

Your Snyk web address Region to select in Torii
app.snyk.io SNYK-US-01 (api.snyk.io)
app.us.snyk.io SNYK-US-02 (api.us.snyk.io)
app.eu.snyk.io SNYK-EU-01 (api.eu.snyk.io)
app.au.snyk.io SNYK-AU-01 (api.au.snyk.io)

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for Snyk and click Connect.
  3. Enter your API Token and Organization ID, and select your Snyk Region.
  4. Click Connect.

Additional Notes

  • Each connection syncs a single organization. To sync additional organizations, connect each one as a separate account.
  • Snyk's API exposes no last-login/activity timestamp and no explicit active/inactive status, so all synced members are reported as active.
