Overview
Torii integrates with Torq and syncs:
- Users, their status, and assigned roles.
- You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.
Requirements
To connect this integration, we require the following:
Accounts & Permissions
- A Torq workspace with the Owner role (required to create a Service API key).
- The API key's assigned role must allow reading users and roles, and — for the provisioning actions — inviting and removing users.
Required keys
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Region (US or EU)
How to Generate the Required Values
Step 1: Create a Torq API key
- Click your user icon/avatar at the bottom of the Torq navigation bar.
- Select API Keys.
- Click Create API Key.
- Enter a meaningful key name and choose an expiration date.
- Toggle the API key Type to Service, then select a role with permission to manage users.
- Click Create.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.
Important
The Client Secret is displayed only once during creation and cannot be retrieved afterward. Copy and store both the Client ID and Client Secret securely.
Step 2: Identify your region
- Use US if you sign in at app.torq.io.
- Use EU if you sign in at app.eu.torq.io.
How to Connect the Integration
- Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
- Search for Torq and click Connect.
- Enter the Client ID and Client Secret, and select your Region (US or EU).
- Click Connect.
Actions
- Invite user - invites a user to the Torq workspace by email and assigns a selected role.
- Delete user - removes a user from the Torq workspace.
