Overview

Torii integrates with Clockify and syncs users and their license status from the active workspace associated with the connected API key.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

• A Clockify account with Admin role in the workspace you want to sync.

Required keys

• API Key — a personal API key generated from your Clockify account preferences.

How to Generate the Required Values

API Key

1. Log in to Clockify and click your profile picture (top-right corner).
2. Select Preferences.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. Scroll to the API section and click Manage API keys.
5. Click Generate API Key.
6. Copy the key immediately — it will not be visible again after you close the window.

How to Connect the Integration

1. In Torii, go to Settings > Integrations.
2. Find Clockify and click Connect.
3. Enter your API Key.
4. Click Connect.

Q&A

Q: What happens if the user who generated the API key leaves the workspace?

A: The API key is tied to the user who generated it. If that user is removed from the workspace, the integration will stop syncing. We recommend generating the key from a dedicated admin service account that will not be removed.
