Setup your Gong integration and get the insights in Torii's dashboard

Overview

  • Torii integrates with your Gong account and syncs the list of users.
  • Torii uses the user’s Permission Profile in Gong as the user’s license.
  • You will be able to see the different license types from the license page.

You can view how many users are connected to Gong and how many have a license.

Prerequisites

In order to connect the integration:

  • You must have Technical Admin permissions in Gong in order to generate an Access Key and Access Key Secret.

  • Retrieve your Access Key and Access Key Secret.

  • (Optional) Retrieve your API Base URL if your organization uses a custom Gong API endpoint.

Gong - Get the Access Key & Access Key Secret

1. Log in to your Gong account.

2. Go to Company Settings.
Note: If you don't see the Company Settings option, you are not a Technical Administrator. Ask your Gong administrator to grant you the required permissions.

3. From the Company Settings page, go to API.

4. (Optional) Copy your Base URL

5. Click Create.

6. Copy the Access Key.

7. Copy the Access Key Secret.

Torii - Connect the Integration

1. From the Integrations tab, select the Gong tile.

2. Click Connect.

3. Paste the Access Key and Access Key Secret.

4. (Optional) Enter the API Base URL. If left empty, Torii will use the default: https://api.gong.io.

5. Click Connect.

Once syncing is complete, the integration tile will display a green checkmark.

Q&A

Q: Does the Torii Gong integration support the Gong EU instance?

A: Yes. To connect to the Gong EU version, you must enter your custom base URL during the integration setup. If this field is left blank, the system will default to the US integration automatically.

Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?

A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple Gong accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose — it is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
