Overview

Torii integrates with Pinterest and syncs:

• Users with their email, username, status, and role
• You can constantly stay updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

• A Pinterest Business account
• Admin access to the Pinterest developer portal to create an OAuth app
• The connecting user must be a member of the Pinterest Business account

Scopes

• user_accounts:read - to read the authenticated user account
• biz_access:read - to list business members for the connected business account

Required keys

• App ID
• App secret key
• Pinterest Business ID

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Create a Pinterest App

1. Go to developers.pinterest.com and sign in with your Pinterest account.
2. Navigate to My apps and click Connect app.
3. Fill in the app details and submit for review. Approval typically takes 1–3 business days.
4. Once approved, go to My apps > Manage > Configure tab.
5. In the Api keys section, copy the App ID and App secret key.

Step 2: Add Torii's Redirect URI

1. On the Configure tab, scroll to Redirect URIs.
2. Add the following URI: https://api.toriihq.com/api/auth/pinterest/callback
3. Click Save.

Step 3: Find your Pinterest Business ID

1. Go to your Pinterest Business account and click the menu icon in the top-left corner.
2. Under Manage business, select Business Manager.
3. Go to Business settings in the left menu.
4. Your Business ID is displayed under your account name in the My information section, or visible in the page URL.

How to Connect the Integration

1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
2. Search for Pinterest and click Connect.
3. Enter your App ID, App secret key, and Pinterest Business ID.
4. Click Connect and complete the Pinterest OAuth authorization.
