Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

To connect this integration, we require the following:

  • A ManageEngine MDM Cloud account (on-premises is not supported)
  • Administrator access to ManageEngine MDM

Required keys

  • Data center domain (the data center domain suffix for your account, e.g., .com, .eu, .in)

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Determine your data center domain

  1. Log in to your ManageEngine MDM Cloud account.
  2. Look at the URL in your browser's address bar.
  3. Identify the domain suffix based on the URL:
Region URL example Domain suffix
United States mdm.manageengine.com .com
Europe mdm.manageengine.eu .eu
India mdm.manageengine.in .in
Australia mdm.manageengine.com.au .com.au
Japan mdm.manageengine.jp .jp
Canada mdm.manageengine.ca .ca
Saudi Arabia mdm.manageengine.sa .sa
United Kingdom mdm.manageengine.uk .uk
  1. Note down the domain suffix that corresponds to your region.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for ManageEngine MDM and click Connect.
  3. Enter your Data center domain (e.g., .com, .eu, .in).
  4. Click Connect. You will be redirected to the authorization page.
  5. Sign in with your ManageEngine MDM administrator account and authorize the connection.
  6. Once the integration is connected and synced, a green checkbox will appear next to the integration.

Scopes & Permissions

During the authorization process, Torii requests specific scopes to enable syncing data and performing actions in ManageEngine MDM.

Read-only scopes

  • MDMOnDemand.MDMUser.READ – Read managed users from ManageEngine MDM.
  • MDMOnDemand.MDMInventory.READ – Read device inventory (serial numbers, models, and OS versions), and installed applications per device.
  • MDMOnDemand.MDMDeviceMgmt.READ – Read groups and group membership.

Write scopes (for actions)

  • MDMOnDemand.MDMDeviceMgmt.CREATE – Add members to groups and perform device actions (lock, wipe).
  • MDMOnDemand.MDMDeviceMgmt.DELETE – Remove members from groups.
  • MDMOnDemand.MDMUser.DELETE - Delete managed users.

These permissions ensure Torii can sync users and devices, as well as perform group-related actions when applicable.

Important Notes

Important
This integration supports ManageEngine MDM Cloud only. On-premises ManageEngine MDM is not supported.

  • Only managed users are synced via this integration. Technicians and admin users of the ManageEngine MDM portal are not synced.

Q&A

Q: What should I enter in the "Account Name" field?

A: The Account Name field lets you connect multiple ManageEngine MDM accounts to Torii. The value can be anything you choose — it is only used to distinguish between your connected accounts. Make sure to use a unique Account Name for each account: connecting a different account with an Account Name that is already in use will overwrite the existing account's data, so choosing distinct names is your responsibility.
