Overview

Torii integrates with Notion and syncs:

  • Users (with Status and Roles)
  • Licenses
  • For more information about this integration's capabilities, see the Integration Capabilities article.

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

  • A Notion workspace with owner-level access
  • (Optional) Notion Enterprise plan for SCIM features (roles sync, user provisioning actions)

Required keys

  • API Key (required) — Internal integration token from Notion
  • SCIM Provisioning Token (optional) — Required for roles sync and user management actions; Enterprise plan only

How to Generate the Required Values

Step 1: Generate an API Key

  1. Log in to your Notion workspace as a workspace owner.
  2. Go to SettingsIntegrations tab.
  3. Click "Create a new integration".
  4. Provide a name for your integration and select the associated workspace.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Click the three dots (•••) next to your integration and copy the Internal Integration Token.

Important
The API Key is tied to a specific workspace. To connect multiple workspaces, create a separate integration for each.

Step 2: Generate a SCIM Provisioning Token (Optional - Enterprise only)

  1. Open the workspace switcher and select Manage organization.
  2. In the General tab, click the ">" next to SCIM provisioning.
  3. Click Add token to create a new token, or copy an existing one.

Important
You must generate a separate SCIM token for each workspace you want to manage.

How to Connect the Integration

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Torii.
  2. Search for Notion and click Connect.
  3. Enter your API Key.
  4. (Optional) Enter your SCIM Provisioning Token if you have an Enterprise plan and want to enable roles sync and user management actions.
  5. Click Connect.

Important Notes

  • Each Notion integration is associated with a single workspace. To sync multiple workspaces, connect each one separately.
  • User roles are only synced when a SCIM Provisioning Token is provided.
  • If SCIM is unavailable or the token is invalid, Torii will fall back to the standard Notion API (without roles).

Actions

The following actions are available when a SCIM Provisioning Token is configured:

  • Create user — Provision a new user in Notion
  • Update user — Modify user details
  • Remove user — Deprovision a user from Notion
  • Add user to group — Add a user to a Notion group
  • Remove user from group — Remove a user from a Notion group
