Requirements
Accounts & Permissions
- To connect this integration, we require the following:
- Public API Key
- Private API Key
- Organization ID
- The API key must have Organization Read Only permissions.
- Note: If you wish to use actions in Torii, the API Key must be created by a MongoDB Organization Owner.
How to Generate the Required Values
1. Log in to your MongoDB Atlas account.
2. Go to Access Manager > Organization Access
3. Go to Organization > Access Manager > Applications tab.
- Click API Keys > Add new > API Key.
- Enter a description (e.g., “Torii”) and select Organization Read Only as permission.
- Click Next.
- Copy the Public Key and Private Key. Private Key will not be viewable again.
- Click Done.
4. Go to the left menu under Organization > Settings, and copy your Organization ID.
How to Connect the Integration

Go to the Integrations page in Torii.

Select the MongoDB tile.

Click Connect.

Enter the following values:
- Public API Key
- Private API Key
- Organization ID

Click Connect to finalize the integration.

Once the integration is connected and synced, a green checkbox will appear next to the integration.
Q&A
Q: What if the integration doesn't connect successfully?
A: Please ensure the following:

The API key was created with the correct Organization Read Only permission.

The private key is entered correctly.

The IP Access List under API Key Details allows external connections.

You can either allow access from all IPs by keep the list empty, or specifically allow Torii's IP addresses. For the list of IPs used by Torii, refer to this article:
