Set up the Rippling integration and get all the insights in Torii's dashboard

Overview

Torii integrates with Rippling and syncs:

• Torii supports multiple Rippling accounts.
• You can also set up your account to use Rippling SSO
• You can constantly be updated with application information from our Integrations Page >> Integration Capabilities button >> Integration Capabilities table

Requirements

Accounts & Permissions

• Make sure you have the Rippling App Management package.
• Make sure you have a Rippling Account and an admin user with access to the following fields, which are synchronized to Torii:
  • First Name, Last Name, Work Email, Status, User ID
  • Termination Date
  • Department
  • Job Title
  • Manager

Scopes

• Torii requests the minimum required scopes to support syncing all required data.
• Torii requires the following scopes to connect to get full user data from the integration:

Connect Rippling Integration

1. Go to the Integrations page and click on the "Rippling" tile
   
2. Connect to Rippling.
   
3. In the "Connect Rippling" window, click Continue
   
   
4. Torii asks for basic permissions; click Accept.
   
   
5. Configure user access rules; choose and click Continue. (to see all Rippling users in Torii, select "Everyone including contractors should get an account")
   
6. Configure provision timing; choose and click Continue. (This affects when they will be see in Torii)
   
7. On the final screen, click Continue
   
8. Once the integration is connected and synced, it will display a green checkbox.

Q&A

Q: Can I connect Torii and Rippling via the Rippling app store? 

A: Yes, the installation process can also be done completely via Rippling's app store, including setting up sing-in to Torii via Rippling SSO. 

Q: Why does the "Rippling Termination Date" field not show future termination dates?

A: This is a known limitation due to a security policy enforced by Rippling. The API does not expose termination dates that are set in the future - only past termination dates are returned. This means Torii will reflect a termination date only after it has passed, and users scheduled for termination will continue to appear as active until their termination date has occurred.
