Overview

  • Torii integrates with your Outreach account and syncs the users': roles, statuses in the app, last used date, and licenses.
  • Torii can support multiple Outreach accounts.
  • Torii can create and update Outreach users through workflow actions.

Connect Outreach integration to Torii.

  1. Go to the Integrations page and select the Outreach tile
  2. Click Connect to Outreach
  3. In the Connect Outreach window, enter the Outreach Organization URL

  4. Click Connect

  5. Once the integration is connected and synced, it will display a green checkbox.

Workflow actions

Torii supports these Outreach actions in Workflows:

  • Create Outreach user - creates a user with a first and last name, and can send them an invitation email. If a user with that email already exists, Torii marks the step as completed.
  • Update Outreach user - updates a user's first name, last name, or job title.

To use these actions, connect Outreach with write access:

  1. In the Connect Outreach window, under Choose permissions, select Read and Take action.
  2. Under Optional actions Torii can take, select Manage users.

If Outreach is already connected with Read permissions, reconnect it with these settings to use the actions.

Q&A

Question/Issue:

Connecting the Outreach integration fails on Outreach's sign-in page (for example, a 500 Internal Server Error on accounts.outreach.io) before the flow returns to Torii.

Resolution:

The connection flow redirects you to Outreach to sign in, so this error occurs on Outreach's side, before the flow returns to Torii. Verify the following in Outreach:

  • The user you connect with can sign in to Outreach directly, and has an assigned Outreach license (seat) in addition to admin permissions. An admin role without an assigned license is not sufficient.
  • You are using a supported, up-to-date browser.
  • If SSO/SAML is enabled, the user's SSO configuration in Outreach is valid.

If the error persists, contact Outreach Support, since Torii has no visibility into errors that occur on Outreach's own sign-in pages.
