Overview

Torii provides several out-of-the-box notifications to help admins stay informed about activities such as new apps discovered, upcoming contract renewals, user offboarding status, and more.

These notifications will be sent only to users with the Admin role, and can be opted in/out of, to make sure you receive updates on what matters to you. 

Managing Your Notifications

1. Click on your profile image to open the drop-down menu.
2. Select Notification settings
   
   
3. In the Notification Settings page, you will find a list of topics that Torii can notify you about, and configure the frequency of each notification.
   
   

Notification descriptions 

1. New application detected
   This notification will be sent when a new application is discovered.
   
2. Upcoming renewal
   This notification will be sent when a contract is nearing it's end date. 
   Several reminders will be sent: 2 months, 1 month, 2 weeks, and 1 week before the contract end date. 
   For more advanced notification we recommend creating a dedicated workflow 
   
3. Unmatched contracts
   

   This notification will be sent periodically, recapping how many contracts have been imported into Torii that have not been successfully matched to an app. 

   
   
4. Owner of an application or contract left the organization
   This notification will be sent when when an owner of an application or contract is no longer active or present in the user lifecycle source of truth.

5. Employee left the organization
   This notification will be sent when an employee is no longer active or present in the user lifecycle source of truth.

6. Offboarding status
   This notification will be sent periodically, recapping how many employees are waiting to start  offboarding, as well as how many users are still in the offboarding process.
   
7. Integration connected
   This notification will be sent when:
   - A new integration is successfully connected.
   - An integration fails to sync.
   
   
8. Failed Integrations
   This notification will be sent periodically, recapping which integrations are in a failed state and require attention to continue syncing. 
   
   

    

Additional Notifications

In addition to the notifications that appear in the Notification Settings page, you can find two more notifications which you can control in the Workflow settings page. You can find this by going to Workflows -> Workflow Settings.

In this page, there are two more notifications you can control:

1. Workflow Error Notification
   This notification will be sent when a workflow encounters an error. It can be found under Notification Settings
   
   
2. Flood Protection
   This notification will be sent when an unusually high number of workflows have been triggered in a short period. In these cases, Torii protects you from potentially unwanted workflow executions. You can read more about this here.
