Workflow Access Management lets you control who can view or manage individual workflows, helping keep sensitive automations secure and preventing unintended changes. With Workflow Access Control, you can:
- Restrict access to sensitive or critical workflows
- Control who can edit vs. view workflows
- Collaborate safely with specific users or teams
Workflow visibility
Workflows can be:
- Public – Available to all users with workflow permissions
- Restricted – Visible only to the workflow owner and invited collaborators
Creating workflows with restricted access
Create Workflow permission
A new permission scope, Create Workflow, controls who can create workflows.
Roles can be configured with:
- No access – Cannot create workflows.
- Take action – Can create workflows.
Users with Create Workflow permission and no Workflow permission won’t see public workflows unless they are explicitly invited.
Workflows collaboration
Workflows can be shared with specific users or role .
Manage collaborators can be done via:
The workflow editor - Manage collaborators button
The workflows table:
- Per workflow, Click on the 3 dots
- Click on Manage collaborators button
Workflow permissions
Each workflow supports two permission levels:
- Can view – View the workflow and its history
- Can manage – Edit, delete, execute, enable/disable, manage secrets, and share the workflow
The workflow creator always retains full control.
