Using Customizable Dashboards

Dashboard-based access

  • By default, Torii dashboards are available to Torii Members with the “Dashboard Management” scope. This scope is provided out-of-the-box for members with the “Admin” or “Read Only” role, and can be given to other roles as well.
  • You can also manage access to dashboards individually via the “Share” button found in each dashboard. Via this feature, you can invite specific users or roles to view that dashboard.
  • You can learn more about dashboard-based access here

Default Dashboards

When you enable the feature, you'll have access to several Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) Dashboard:

  • SaaS Inventory Dashboard: This dashboard provides an overview of your SaaS applications, as well as key metrics and breakdowns regarding them such as usage, source, potential risk and more.

  • Cost Optimization Dashboard: This dashboard presents your SaaS-related expense data, so you can analyze trends, efficiencies and anomalies in your expense data. You can use this data to optimize your SaaS spend and find cost-saving opportunities.
  • Renewal Management Dashboard: This dashboard focuses on your SaaS software contracts and how to maximize the potential of upcoming renewals processes. You can use this data to make sure you’re only paying for software you need, and keep your license count in check
  • Security & Compliance Dashboard: This dashboard provides a clear, actionable view into potential risks across your applications. You can use this data to monitor vulnerabilities, tighten access controls, and ensure every app aligns with your compliance standards.

You can further personalize these dashboards to suit your needs by customizing widgets and the dashboard layout.

Hovering over each widget in the dashboard will show a "View data" button, which will open the data source behind the widget. This allows you to drill down into the data, and also accommodates downloading it for further analysis.

You can also create brand new dashboards, tailored to your (or a stakeholder's) needs by selecting "Create new dashboard" in the Dashboard navigation menu. You can also remove irrelevant or unwanted dashboards while in edit mode by clicking on the menu icon -> Delete.

Note: Not all dashboard functionality is available for all plan tiers.

  • All customers have access to our SaaS Inventory Dashboard.
  • Access to additional OOTB dashboards and widget data source tables is available only for customers on the Professional plan and above.
  • Customization of widgets and dashboards is available only for customers on the Enterprise plan.

Q&A

Q: Why are the links in my table widget not clickable?

A: Links in table widgets are deactivated in Edit mode. This is to prevent accidental navigation during configuration of your dashboard. In View mode, these links work as intended.
