- Torii supports syncing multiple OpenAI accounts.
- If the AI Module is enabled, Torii also syncs OpenAI cost data using this same Admin Key and Organization ID. See Syncing AI cost data from Cursor, OpenAI, Claude Platform, and Claude.ai.

- To connect this integration, we require the following:
- Admin Key
- Organization ID
How to Generate the Required Values
1. Log in to OpenAI Developer platform.
2. Finding the Organization ID:
- Navigate to the Organization Settings section in the OpenAI Developer platform.
- Locate the Organization ID field and copy it.
3. Finding the Admin Key
- Click Admin Keys from the left menu. Please note that API Keys are not supported for this integration, so ensure you select Admin Keys.
- Create a new Admin Key
- Copy the Admin Key for use during the integration process.
How to Connect the Integration

Go to the Integrations page in Torii.

Select the OpenAI tile.

Click Connect.

Enter the required values:
- Admin Key
- Organization ID

Click Connect to finalize the integration.

Once the integration is connected and synced, a green checkbox will appear next to the integration.
Q&A
Q: Can I use a regular API Key instead of an Admin Key?
A: No, only the Admin Key is supported. Regular API Keys do not have the necessary permissions to fetch the required user and license data.
Q: What if I don’t have an Organization ID?
A: The Organization ID is mandatory for connecting the integration. Please refer to the steps above to locate your Organization ID in OpenAI.
Q: Can Torii use the Admin Key to access OpenAI features, such as starting a ChatGPT conversation or creating an image?
A: No, the Admin Key is intended for administrative management only and cannot be used to access OpenAI features. For example:
- Starting a conversation with ChatGPT requires a regular API key, not the Admin Key.
- Listing files via the API (https://api.openai.com/v1/files) or creating images (https://api.openai.com/v1/images/generations) requires the use of a regular API key.
