This guide takes you from an empty AI Module to live data in three steps. Plan for a few minutes to get your first platform syncing.
1. Open the AI Module
Go to https://app.toriihq.com/team/ai (it redirects to your organization). You'll see a card for each supported AI platform, each showing whether data has been synced yet. The AI Module is available to Torii admins.
2. Connect your data sources
Torii collects AI usage in three ways - use whichever fit your stack:
- SaaS AI platforms (OpenAI, Cursor, Lovable, Claude Platform, Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Base44) sync through the Torii AI Lens browser extension. Follow Syncing AI app data with the Torii AI Lens browser extension.
- Developer command-line tools (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex) report through AI Telemetry. Follow Quick start: pilot Claude Code token tracking.
- Vendor admin APIs sync billed cost for Cursor, OpenAI, Claude Platform, and Claude.ai, using the credentials from the integration you already connected in Torii. Follow Syncing AI cost data from Cursor, OpenAI, Claude Platform, and Claude.ai.
You don't need every source - start with the ones that cover the tools your team actually uses.
3. Explore your dashboards
Once data is flowing, head to the dashboards to make sense of it:
- AI dashboards - usage, value, adoption, and productivity over time.
- The AI Pulse dashboard - real-time activity as it happens.
About the numbers
For most platforms, dollar amounts are an estimated token value based on standard API rates - not your invoice amount. They show how intensively AI is used, not what you're billed. For Cursor, OpenAI, Claude Platform, and Claude.ai, cost is synced from the vendor's admin API and reflects billed amounts.
